LAIQ

/Laeeq/Layk

noun

Laiq is a masculine name, which means Able, Worthy, Fit, Suitable, Capable, Decent, Intelligent. These are the seven principles of LAIQ.

The theory of LAIQ is symbolic of the inevitable cycle that occurs with Morning, Noon, Evening and Night. In it’s most simplistic form it personifies the process of inescapable change.

At LAIQ we curate a collection of ‘forever’ products that withstand time, and capture the essence of the 7 principles via four seasons which embody the time of day and began our journey.

Season 1, The Night is Black. The transitional period of darkness between sunset and sunrise. As a result, the Night became the beginning rather than the end.

Season 2, The Morning is Gold. The part or period of the day which extends from dawn/midnight and provides the inevitable light and warmth of a new beginning.

Season 3, The Afternoon is White. This represents the zenith of the day. It is also the time when no shadows are possible because the sun is directly overhead therefore providing balance.

Season 4, The Evening is Grey. Regarded as the time of when the sun is low in the sky and lasting until the end of twilight. The transitional tone between the white of Noon and the black of Night.

Four seasons. Four hues. Seven principles.
